Kawasaki was an internal project that Monkeystack undertook to push the graphic rendering and interactive capabilities of VR headsets.
A highly detailed environment fully realised in VR, it places the viewer into of the apartment of a young engineer who is overly infatuated with their Kawasaki Ninja H2R motorcycle. The bike’s different components are interactive, and can be individually selected to view their technical specifications.
As a technical artist on this project, I established the asset pipeline, the logic on which it all runs, shaders, and lighting. I also developed some unique visual effects, some of which can be seen here.
