A darkly humorous first-person adventure game, The Vault was developed through a partnership with the ARC Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions, the Queen Mary University of London, and Monkeystack. You can see more screenshots from the project here.
Designed to educate players and improve emotional literacy, The Vault immerses players in the personal stories of real-life historical figures who may not have interpreted or valued emotion in the way we do today.
As production supervisor, I was responsible for leading a team of programmers and artists, managing tasks, providing feedback, and making sure all was delivered on time while also working on the implementation of game logic, designing levels, and creating environment art, 3D animation, and visual effects. I filled gaps where I could to ensure the project was a success.
The Vault won the “Best Console / PC Hardcore” and “Best Indie Game” awards at Game Connection Europe in 2018.
